Hi Guys,
I have upload just now the Alpha 9
I have fix some bugs and introduced new features, please test it deeply and write me bugs you will find.
I am near to release the first 5.0 RC 1, I need to convert old scripts and make better moviecards.
As always, the Log:

->Now when you press "Random Movie" the grid will scroll automatically to it
->Re-writed from scratch the Grid Movies Loading procedure, now it's more fast
->Now if you press a letter in grid, will autmatically scroll to the first movie
->Added the ImageView window (if you click on the cover in QuickEdit)
->Added Lists Manager: you can now edit Category, Status, Audio etc...
->Added Media Type Manager: you can now Edit Media Types and Assign Different Icons
->You can now change Personal Rating to all selected Movies
->Now when you import Old Database you can import also MovieID
->Now you can find all Movies of an Actor/Director by Right-Click on it
->Added some DropDowns menu in Main Window and Edit Window (Movie)
->Changed the way you can select Grid Fields (Movie)
->Now when you import an old Database the Main Window will be automatically refreshed
->Fixed a bug in OFDB script: now you can use it also with Internal Webbrowser
->Fixed a bug when you Create a New database (Refresh QuickEdit Tab)
->Fixed a bug in CSV import
->Fixed a bug in Actor's import from Internet
->Fixed some minor bugs
->Fixed a bug in Chains Manager
->Fixed a bug in Internal Webbrowser Import
->Fixed a bug in Movie Export: now all fields are available

hi alessio,
i´ve found some things in the new build:
1. after i´ve changed one movie within the EDIt window EMM loads the whole movie list again and needs some time to refresh .... could this be shorter?[I have made this just now (alpha 10): if you only EDIT informations, only the row of the movie will be reloaded. If you add a new movie, the whole grid will be reloaded]
2. after editing a movie dataset the last dataset is marked (bottom of the list ) ... i´ve sorted by catalognr / descending. i think that the edited dataset should be marked
3. did you think about the treeview and using the whole height of EMM? (the search template and the treeview would be better visible then)[Done in Alpha 10]
4. is it possible to search like this? i have an episode buffy "buffy - 202 - bla bla blabla" and want to search for "buffy blabla". now EMM does not find anything....
5. a quicksearch would fit right to the EXIT icon ... did you think about that?
6. it would be nice to have a checkbox for SEEN in the grid (would also save space and look nicer ;))[Done in Alpha 10]

When loading xMM there is an error message with error code "C1".
The grid has disappeared completely although I can open the fields manager and select fields (after that the hole window remain empty, no grid at all).
Update: example database works, but when I import an old xMM 4.8 database into a new empty one the described error message appears.
FTP-Manager problem still exist.
Suggestion: In edit menue you can set default scripts and chains for quick search. Is it possible to display the name of the script or chain in the menue when selected (like: "Quick with IMDB")? It's always hard to remember what scripts I have set as default (maybe I become old  ).

Great suggestion, I will do that!
I am working to avoid problems at startup, the cause is the previous settings in your Window Registry.
You can solve it by restore default setting (menu tools -> restore default config).
Please let me know if works correctly

Hi Alessio,
a little suggestion I don't know if it's easy for you to implement it.
In the grid view, it could be great to have a function that resize automatically all the columns at the right size to view the longer content completly.

i have a question according to the batch import from internet. sometimes a movie is not found ... is there a possibility to edit the title of the movie directly in the batch window in order to find the right title on the net?

hi,
there should be a possibility to choose this function. i don´t like it beceause i always try to have all my important columns on one screen and don´t want to scroll horizotally and i´m happy with the saved column-widths
i hope Alessio can find something making us all happy ;)

i have one thing again:
1. would it be possible to save the EDIT windwow size and position? i often change something in the COMMENTS field and always have to resize the EDIT window in order to see more text in this field ....
and here a picture how i mean some things ... :)

Yes, with this procedure I can "refresh" the grid display.
But I have found a way to destroy it afterwards. In the fields manager there are the fields "Title", "Media" and "Personal Rating" selected. Looking at the grid there is also the "MovieID" row displayed (although not selected in field manager). When I select the "MovieID" field in field manager, the described error message appears and the whole grid disappears.

I have finish just now the work on the "Picture" you sent, now XMM works exactly as you want (except for the toolbar for select the moviecard)
@Mawu,
Fixed the problem, now in the fields manager you cannot add a field twice

i would like to know if other users also like the idea with the new view ? what do you think about it? you could use the space at the bottom of the new panel for statistics or something ....
1. an idea again according to the grid: if i right-click on a movie in the grid in order to edit it, the movie is not highlighted. i have to left-klick on this movie to highlight it and then i can do the right-click ... is it possible to change this behavior? [You can simply Double click on it . At this time I don't know if it possibile highlight only by right click (because it's managed directly by grid)]
2. building a moviecard. trying to use images from a folder in the moviecards-folder (moviecards/images) does not work, but if the images are in the moviecards-folder directly it works. i think it´s a path problem (document relative path does not work but site-root relative path seems to work) .... is it possible to change this? [You should send me the MovieCard, with it I can see why doesn't work correctly]

In the media manager I'm not able to assign an icon to a media type.
Cover Manager: display of filename and path is cut
TV Series: I can't find a media type field for series; field manager for grid will be also useful for tv series.

Sorry Mawu, a stupid bug, the label is in front of the textbox. Anyway you can write Icons number and save it also now.

The Media Type Field is ready, what is missing is the Media Icon Manager (and combobox), I will add in alpha 10

Hi,
Found a bug (?):
1. i edit a movie and set the original language to German after that i Save/Exit. after exiting the movie is cloned in the grid ...
somebody else with the same problem?
