It's time for another alpha 
The work near XMM 5.0 is near to be completed, next week I hope to release the official 5.0 for all people.
Please continue to report bugs, so I can try to fix them all.

Hello Alessio,
thank you for the new version (and the old dvd icon  ).
Import from old xMM is better now, but problem with cut name in personage column is still there. media year field is also not imported 1:1 (maybe because I always use it for the exact release date dd.mm.yyyy)

Maybe you also have seen during your italian translation that not all translatable text is included in ini-file (e.g. "Print collection" or many things in MagicScript Editor). Maybe you can complete that step-by-step. When I'm ready with my translation (80% is done) I can list all missing translations.

The problem with Personage is hard to fix, this because you have use the "," character to separate actors (The default was "|"), so the engine cannot "understand" correctly when the "," is for separate actors or separate names.
About Traslation, please send to me the list of missing text(if you have already made it, I don't want you waste your time).

and thank you for the new alpha.
i have one bug for you:
1. i select many datasets and try to open the multiple changes manager (right click) but then EMM crashes ...
--> OK i found out that i forgot to close my EDIT window (it was opened in the background --> why is it possible?) and with this opened EDIT window i tried to open the muliple changes manager --> then EMM crashes)
[Fixed in Alpha 14]

is it possible to integrate CD Label printing in the "Cover's Print Manager"?
I have for example the Canon Pixma 4000, which can print cds directly
would be cool if that was possible.

Hi again Alessio, the first bug, I found, is:
*Options-MagicScript-Import movie title from internet...
This option is always activated and it is imposible to change it.

some things here:
1. i try to change the cover of a movie in the EDIT window. the possibility to switch to the next cover does not work. i would like to have the possibility to click on the arrow above the cover in the EDIT window and after saving a movie the selected cover is displayed.
2. i think that the possbility to open the cover manager from the EDIT window would be great (a button above the cover in EDIT)

3. sometimes i forget that the EDIT window is opened because it´s not always in front of the main window. what do you think ... would it be better to open the EDIT window in front of the EMM main window and not to have the possibility to minimize it?
[Fixed in Alpha 14, will be always in front]
4. doubleclicking on a movie in the grid and moving the mouse to the bottom selects many other movies behind the opened EDIT window. i think that´s a bug?
[(Should be) fixed in Alpha 14 ]
5. the OFDB script does not work with german umlauts "ö / ü / ....". here an example :) "plötzlich prinzessin" can´t be found but "prinzessin" is ok
6. the cursor should jump directly into the searchwindow if switching to it

Hi MTS,
What script are you using? because here, with the latest IMDB script, the Skip works correctly.
Please delete all your scripts, and use the LiveUpdate to download the latest again.

Hi Alesio,
I use latest script, clean update, download from server. Select the imdb script. In the show options i deselect "Import movie title from internet" and select "if no direct link is found..." then save changes. I also select "skip automatically if there are no direct links", set all script values to 1 and proceed. Keeps asking me to choose a movie from the list.
The "take first direct link automatically" working fine, although there should be an option to abort which i cant see anywhere.

maybe i misunderstood the use of this, cause i just found out how it works.
It skips only when there are no direct links at all for the movie.
But the use of this option in 4.8 was to skip when there are more than 1 direct links, just to keep the movies with unique direct link and skip the rest without the need to choose the right one. Correct me if i'm wrong. |

You are right also about 4.8, it's function was different, but this engine in 5.0 it's completely new and different.
Anyway, I will try to see if it possible make an options like you want.

i have a question according to the the import-window. after the import of movie informations from the net i have to close the window but EMM needs a long time to do this, why?
does EMM load the whole database again? or only the imprted movies?

Hi Alessio,
- In my script I put #ORIGINALTITLE# and it works very well when the field is empty, but when the field already information XMM imports #TITLE# and substitue the previous.
-In Magic Script Import Engine, in "fields to import with Selected Script", the field Original Title when canceled, it continues importing the Original Title.
