Hi Guys,
This is one of the few alpha remained, I hope next week to release the first beta for all people.
The main change is the "Copy Autentication". The EXE will be shareware, you need to insert your Key inside the Autentication window and proceed.
All instructions are in the Registered user's area.
If autentication fails, please write me an email.
I have also update the language INI, so people that are translating it can add the new words at end (few rows).
If you want, you can also translate the QuickGuide files. These files are stored in "QuickHelp\EN" for english; if you want for example make German, just create a folder "quickhelp\DE" and translate the HTML files.
To let XMM know what QuickHelp it must use you must change the row "0000" of language INI File, and replace "EN" value with "DE"

Hello,
a little suggestion for a next release : it could be cool if there is a feature to add manuelly directlink for movies that the scripts don't find. And the other feature is, as already said, the ability to change the title during the search if we don't find the movie as in the version 4.

I have find some bugs I think.
Now when I download actors of movies, I have for exemple : Guy Marchand (Memphis) and nothing in the Personnage column at the place of Guy Marchand in the actor and Memphis in the personnage column.
Other thing : I have created a chain and I have in first the script Allocine.com and after IMDB.com but the download begin with the imdb.com site. |

Hi Guys,
Sorry, I have forget to insert in the Setup the files of QuickHelp.
I have upload a new installation file just now, so you will find the subfolder "QuickHelp\EN" that contains the HTML files of QuickHelp.
If you want translate it in German (for example), you must only create a new subfolder called "QuickHelp\DE", copy all HTML files and translate it.
After that, in the INI German Language, just write in the line 0000 "DE" instead of "EN

After some tests with a friend in translation, here are some results i have you may want to check
errors
1. in add/edit movie information: if you move the mouse to "New" the text that appears shows "add a new actor" which is wrong.

some changes you could make, so the (translated) text can appear correctly
[Fixed in Alpha 15]
1. in add/edit movie information the space for the big characters "add/edit movie information" on top to expand till at least the half of the window.
[Fixed in Alpha 15]
2. "marked" and "Seen" in edit/quickedit cant appear correctly in translation (longer words, really cant shorten them). Best solution for this is to make them appear in 2 rows instead of one.

3. When the "show horizontal scheme" is active, a vertical slidebar bar in quick edit view would be usefull (dont have to do with translation this one, just noticed)

untranslated parts. words that appear in english after the translation of the whole ini file.
1.help->video tutorial: if you pass the mouse above the words type, filename etc. english text appears.

2. xmm liveupdate: words: "update, type, file, date, status"

3. All in "Covers Print Manager" and "Covers Manager" section

4. In advanced functions: word: "ftp manager". Also in ftp manager

5. all not yet ready options under utilities/plug-ins
6. All the words on the top half of the 3rd generation magicscript wizard
7. In add/edit movie information: (although in quick edit appear correctly) words: "personal rating, rating, marked, seen, status". Also the tabs: "movie, starring"

8. word: "Group-by:" and All fields In treeview in my movies, my tv series and actors, and in divx ie&ns moviecards
9. In File: words: "print collection"

10. The text that appears in the ? icon at the bottom "TSBRandomMovie"

11. In tools->multiple changes at once->change status: all the words there
12 Yes, No and Cancel in "are you sure style" windows
13. In scripts manager: words: "delete script, clone script" and the appearing words there and under grid words (filename, description, etc). Also the description of each script (if this is possible to be translated anyway)

14. In chains manager: words: "Create new chain, Type, chain filename, script filename, description, quality, options"

15. In statistics: words: "Statistic of" and the text that appears when you choose one from there. Also the Seen appears as seer (in english text)

16. In loan manager window: words appearing under movie and friend

19. In tools->options: words: "save changes, close, Please select your language, remember you must restart...."

20. In loan/return, text that appears if you pass mouse in "Make "Loaned" all Movies with the same MediaID (CatalogN°)"

thank you for the update ... EMM is nearly perfect now ... but as you know cortexwave always has something :)
1. thanky for the cover manager changes: would it be possible to use the arrows in the EDIT window to set the cover to first position?
2. if i change information for a movie using the quick edit view and delete the information using BACKSPACE button the changes are taken switching back to the MOVIECARD slot, but if use the the DELETE button the changes are not visible after switching to moviecard again.... i hope you understand .... ?
3. cloning a movie needs a long time ...
4. i think we shoul have the possibility to make more customized sortings
5. did you take a look at the coloured rows or coloured fonts in the grid (for STATUS ..... )

Is it possible to change the location for your, database, covers, photos and actorcards. Just like the pre emm5 version.

@Romio: You can change the database folder and put where you want. Just create a new database and put it in folder you like, XMM will automatically create the cover's subfolders.

Can you change the date format into dd.mm.yyyy for the media year import? (now its yyyymmdd)
Cover in grid should be scaleable (maybe in the options window)
Cove manager: filename is cut in display; drag and drop to change cover order, possibility to open a cover in a graphics program directly from cover manager/cover print manager would be fine.
[FileName cut is fixed in Alpha 16]

1. after i changed some movies MEDIA field (with the right click MULTIPLE CHANGES EDITOR), the changed movies are not refreshed in the grid ... (also changing other fields through the MULTILE CHANGES MANAGER shows this behaviour)

2. is it possible to show small flags in the grid which show the language of a movie? this would save space.
3. i think we need more pulldowns for some fields (language, codec ....)
4. the date in the modified column in the grid is still 20060403

5. i think we should also have the possibility to change DATES in the right click MULTIPLE CHANGES window
6. could you merge the possibilities of the MULTIPLE CHANGES into the right click MULTIPLE CHANGES WINDOW?

just few things i noticed
1. in add/edit actor if you move the mouse to the left outside the add/edit window area, the window minimize (without clicking)

2. in the grid: sort by CatalogNo sorting 1,10,100,1000 instead of 1,2,3,4....
[I cannot do nothing because this field is not numeric. You should write 00001, 00010 etc..]
3. Is it possible to perform multiple changes to a field we choose? For example i would like to change the value 0 in the "Disks" field to 1 for all the movies with 0.
[You can use the "Edit Multiple" function (right click)]

here some things again:
1. the variable _LOAN_DATE_ gives me for movies 01.01.1900 (all my movies were imported with this date in the DATE LAST LOAN field) would it be possible to use the MULTIPLE CHANGES EDIT WINDOW to change also the dates in many datasets at once?
2. after i´ve loaned a movie i can see a right date in the moviecard. but after i returned a movie the date the movie was loaned is displayed as _LOAN_DATE_
[I cannot reproduce the error, here seem to be OK.]
3. after i loaned a movie the whole grid will be refreshed ... it takes a long time ...
[It's strange because it refresh only Loaned/Returned movies, not all]
4. now we have the loaned and marked icons in the MEDIA column in the grid ... it would be great if they would have their own column or if they would be in front of the title ... (or do you have some more ideas?)
[Now the Loans and Marked columns will show icons, Alpha 16]
