old guy. probably old question. Having to redo my db again. Is there any way to assign an image file to entire series without having to do it manually?

Just load any pic and assign it to the TVShow as Cover or as Fanart. I don't know which pic you are thinking of. Another possibility is to use the Cover Manager plugin - although I don't know if it works correctly for TVShows. For Movies it's working well.
