I have just send a new IMDB script to Ale.

It comes along with adjusted options.

Maybe it should be added with a new name... to not compromise existing data?!?
I think it has to be explicitly declared that some of the Custom Fields now have there own one (Revenue, Budget, IMDB Link, etc.). Further there are new/modified CustomFields used.

Custom 1 = Worldwide Gross
Custom 2 = Admissions
Custom 9 = Certification List
Custom 10 = Release Dates (The new field for does only contain the default one as it is limited to 250 signs)
Custom 11 = Filming Locations
Custom 3 to 8 are now unused

Corrected data:
Awards Number
Goofs
Trivia
A.K.A.s
IMDB Top 250
Movie Connections

Added data:
Filming Locations
Certifications
Release Dates
Admissions

Maybe we have to modify the HTMLCard corresponding to the changes, too.

Any comments or help is appreciated!

@Jdommi

First of all thank you very much for the improvements on the IMDB script. It's not only a script it's a big feature update for xMM, too.
My comments:
- what is stored in the revenue field when you already use custom1+2 for that stuff?
- is a certification list necessary when there is already an MPAA field?
- why using custom 10 for release dates when there is already a release date field in tab "details2"?
- Let's go the whole hog and allow the script downloading the whole crew data ("other crew members")

Example for Constantine (2005):
Revenue: $75,500,759 (from Main page) = Gross (USA)
Budget: $100,000,000 (from Main page)
Custom1: $230,884,728 (from Business page) = Worldwide Gross
Custom2: 1,072,255 (from Business page) = Admissions (localized, here: Germany)

Not really but why not if it is there? Same question then for AKAs...

Release Dates on Details 2 tab is limited to 250 chars. The whole list is longer. Therefor Release Dates contains only the localized Release Date and Custom10 the whole list. It's the same like Titel/Original Title and AKAs.

That will be not very difficult. BUT:
1. Which data do you wanna have and which info is really relevant? Depending on that the list could be very long.
2. Should they be imported into the People database? Then the database will get bigger and bigger (have a look at the filmography depending on the amount of actors to import!)
On this point we have to think really good about!!!

Beside that You only have Custom9 to Custom11 as Memofields. All other are limited to 250 chars unless Ale has corrected the Custom6 field which is declared as Memo but can import only the 250 chars.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

Hi! Good work! I am experimenting the news.

It seems to me that there's a problem with the "profession" field of the imported actors

Well, please let me know.
I only have tried to correct the actor's birthdate function. The rest still is as it was.

*EDIT*
I just have tested the imported actor's data. There are a lot of problems
Birthname, profession, awards, ...
That will take a lot of time to repair.

HELP!!!!!

Just try it

90% are only find commands and 5% are take commands - the rest is try & error

But to be seriously it's not as difficult as it seems as long as you you stay on top of things. Good comments will make life easier, too.
