 Problema ordine cronologico film per regista

Quando si ordinano i film per regista putroppo non viene seguito (almeno a quanto mi sembra, correggetemi se sbaglio...) nessun ordine cronologico, né ascendente né discendente (e neppure alfabetico, ma che ordine misterioso segue? Mah...) ed è davvero incomprensibile data la cura e l'abbondanza dei dettagli che XMM consente.
Soprattutto la possibilità di utilizzo dei dati raccolti a fine di studio della produzione di ogni singolo regista ne risulta compromessa.
Se non è troppo complicato da risolvere, consentire l'ordinamento cronologico, sarebbe un miglioramento, a mio parere, ENORME...

Well, good question. As I don't download the filomography I didn't have recognized that before.
I would have thought that it is the same order as shown on the webpage.

But if you are thinking of "Movies in Database" then it is sorted by the xmm internal MovieID.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

Yes, I was talking about the order in the XMM database.
The XMM internal MovieID is not chronological and it seems that there is no way to order it.
I verified that in "Strumenti" - "Manutenzione collezione" there is an option to renumber the Movie Id! But not in chronological order.
I hope that Ale could make soon this important improvement.

There is a function to renumber the IDs by movie title in alphabetical order.
Although I wouldn't do that as there still seem to be problems with the renumbering function. But I never have tested it in the last time.
You can try it yourself, but keep in mind to have a backup of your database before testing such essential changes!

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

Thanx but I prefere to wait, because the useful order is the chronological one.
Furthermore now the alphabetical order is actually perfectly working!

Ho verificato che il problema può essere (parzialmente)superato, usando la funzione di ricerca per singolo regista:in questo caso, l'ordine cronologico dei film è rispettato!
Al contrario, come già detto, se si ordinano i film per regista nella lista generale di tutti i film (usando la relativa linguetta in alto), l'ordine cronologico NON viene rispettato!
