hey Alessio, by the latest version (that fixed covers for non english characters) everyting that i tried seems work well. i didnt gave up xmm4.8 yet, but will do soon. so, when i adding my movies from dvds (that includes multiple films) xmm shows and adds movies in alphabetical order. but i would like to have sorting movies in this window (via up down arrows maybe) so xmm can add movies the order which i want.
i would appreciate if you can add this feature (and would be happy tp see very soon ) thanks to you for this great program

hi aleesio, i didnt get any answer, so i'll bump this one
to make it clear, what i really need is -an easy way to change a movie's movieID (not automatically i want to enter number manually) field (also the name of cover). i know it's possible to that even now but cover names doesnt update, and it is hard to double click each movie, enter new value, press exit/save buton, press refresh. -a better way is choosing movieID at the time of adding movie (by scanning CD/DVD)
and a bug (i guess). there are two options for cover naming. when you choose only using movieID field and change the number of a movie and add another movie with the same movieID, what you get is wrong covers.
here is a step by step explanation 1.add movie "myMovie" from dvd(with frame capturing), and get the movieID 5. 2.change myMovie's movieID to 4 (which leaves cover name as 5.jpg) 3.add movie "myMovie2" from dvd(with frame capturing), and get the movieID 5.
after that point cover names messed up. hope i made it clear. thanks in advance

Hi Huttican,
Sorry for my late reply!
I will try to do the arrows to move up and down movies, but I don't know if I can do this or not.
About covers: as you wrote, if you change the MovieID and you have set the cover only with MovieID, you will get a wrong cover associated with the movie.
I don't know exactly why so much users need to change the MovieID , this should be used only by XMM to store unique informations
Btw, I will try to take a look at this problem.
Thank you!

thanks for the reply
you are right about movieID should be used only by xMM, but in xmm 4.x there was no such thing ad catalogNo (as far as i know) and i used movieID as catalogNo and all my cd/dvds have that number written on them, and sometimes i need to update some of them, that's why i need this kind of functionality. and a note from another developer, from my experience when you show some information to users they will want to ability to change that ( rule of "i shall have the power", sad but true ).
i hope you can find a way to do that. thanks again for this beautiful program.
