Hi all,

after installing the new version I was looking for the possibility to edit the media types and Icons.

In former Versions this was located in the toolbar "Tools - Manage Lists - Edit Media Types (Icons)..."

In the new Version I couldn't find this? Am I blind or is this menu lost????

There's a new Media Icons folder. You have to add PNGs with the exact same name as your media. Refresh and they're recognised.

Actually, Alessio, this one was better in the 6.xx.xx vrsns.

Hi,

the 7.x is different. In this new release XMM search for images in the subfolder called "MediaTypeIcons".

For Divx for example, XMM search the file Divx.PNG, for Xvid search the Xvid.png

With this new procedure you can add/change all icons you want.

Ale

Ok and thank you,
but this this is only the solution for one part of my question.

In former versions I didn't wanna see all media types in the "drop-down-field" when I added or edited a film.
So I deleted all unused Types and renamed some of the other types.

How can I handle this in the new version. Is this also managed by a folder like the medi-icons? If so, help me to find it.

OK, understand.

It's not possible at this time, I will add in next release.

Thank you,

Alessio

You can create a new media in XMM and the place an icon with the same name.png in the Media Icons folder.
