I have the same problem. Movie Manager will not update to new version under Windows 7. I sent an e-mail to Alessio looking for help but no response. After clicking on Start Update, I get an error message at the bottom of the Movie Manager window saying something like "Can't access the LiveUpdate . . ." but the file path disappears so fast that I cannot get the information right. Very frustrating and the on-line help documentation is lame on this topic. I made sure that eXtreme Movie Manager is OK with my Windows firewall but still no success updating.
