I want to remove everything after " " (double space) in my titles. how can i do that?

Or i want to get the name until the year. XMM gets the year right but gets the credits ETC afterwards.

ie.
filename:
Mad.Max.2.1981.m-720p.x264-shan.-.Aftms.mkv
title:
Mad Max 2 M- -shan -
required title:
Mad Max 2
year:1981
