Hello,

Was XMM work before or its the first time you install it?

If was working please delete the config.ini file that is in the same folder of EXE to reset the configuration.

Ale

Yes. It was working ok.

Removing the config.ini didn't help at all...

I have reinstalled XMM but the same result!
It doesn't create a new "config.ini" after i have deleted it...

when you do the install, try to right click and select runas adminstrator.
Do you have all the additional required programs installed also?

Just do the backup manually:
1. Go to the folder where your database is
2. Copy [your_database].mdb AND all related subfolders ([your_database]_cover, [your_database]_download, [your_database]_mediacenterdir, [your_database]_photos and [your_database]_thumbs) to any media you want.
These files you can copy back into the original folder after the new installation. Or just load it from your backup media.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
