I just installed 8th version and pulled in 7th database. Here I will ask some questions and use numbers so u could answer on each with number.
1. There is no quick edit window in view, cant find it anywhere. Where is it? I need it.
2. When I open in database filter by genre/sungenre (i usually use it to check my movies to watch) and there is boxset in it. It used to be separate from movies now all together, movies, tvshows, boxsets - total mess. Could u make so i could check only movies by filters separate from tvshows and boxsets?
3. In one of the oldest version i used add poster from clipboard function. Even when original i was copying from web was jpg about 50kb it saved in database file sometimes almost 1mb with jpg extantion but png format. Is there any utils in xxm or 3rd part i can use to fix it and recode all pictures in the jpg? Maybe with set of quality and size limit?
4. In 7th version there was util that was looking for movies in db which missing movie files on hard drive. Cant find it too. And i think there was also something for finding 2 records on one file on drive.
Ok, that's all for now. Plz help me with these few. I coudnt find anything on forum however im not good in searching. |

Oh and one more thing
5. When I loaded database from 7th version in the thumbnail view shows old thumbnail. For example i replaced poster but it still show s old one. How to refresh it, or make it refresh by itself? |

3. Options: General - Use Irfan View to Convert Images... There are plenty of tools that do a batch conversion like ACDSee, IrfanView, etc.
4. Have a look at Device Scanner - Additional Options
5. Have seen that topic before. But I don't know if that bug is already fixed. It's a matter of that "unloved" thumbnail thingy that Ale has implemented I think. |

So... 2 month ago. Just downloaded newest version on XMM. I see NO difference. I still click on genre/subgenre and see total mess there.
An empty folder - no genre where is all setBOXes r. I used to use setboxes as alternative for genre filter, u know when u wana see only on movies all series. Still TVshows there, which suppose to be separate.
Am i doing something wrong or its just u? If u add resolution to this prob plz tell me, otherwise 2 months with known issue and no fix?.. |
