Hello,

I updated tot XMM8

In XMM7 you can insert any subtitle you want.

In XMM8 you have to choose one of the listed subtitles in de Add/Editmovie window.

Where can I insert a different subtitle than are listed?

If yes, will they stay in the list? So you can choose it the next time. I don't see any window to do this.

I also want to insert a subtitle (self choosen)for mutiple movies at once.

Greetings Remer

I don't think that you can add others than the given subtitles.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

The handling of language and subtitle is inconsistent. When you edit under Tools->Edit Lists->Language the values new added language items also appear in the subtitle list. There should be a clear sparation between language and subtitles and also two separate editable lists of selectable languages. For subtitles for example I list also subtitles for hearing-impaired persons and this special subtitles only belong to "subtitle" and not to "language".

One step further: My subs are saved as Dir - Title - Year.LANG.srt

Is it so difficult? Why can't XMM move the LANG string it the subs field? I don't mind using a different scheme if Ale find it more suitable. But I'm tired of filling manually the subs field.

You're my man, Mawu

You don't know for how long I've been wondering where and how to put in userdefined subs, and you gave that answer. Thanx a lot!

Cheers

Yes, is incinsistent, but there is a reason... I mean, a subtitle has the same name of language...

bwt, in next release you will be able to change it also form subtitle list
