I'm not going to call this bug, just didn't know where else to post it.
When I want to update actors and I select them from the list then select IMDB Actors script it will search for the direct link using them. I have checked clear previous links checkbox. Once the direct links are done and the download begins it switches to IMDB Complete and doesn't use the actors script.
Could it be that it is only a wrong display? I didn't have recognized that behaviour. I just have updated 6500 actors by that script and all was correct as far as I have seen.

I thought that too. But I ran a test and it downloads the movie information too. Also noticed in the process picked some more actors that hadn't downloaded using 999 on the complete.
Only possibility I can see for that (a bug I have already reported): When you are in Actors mode but have selected a movie on the HTML card then the import window changes back to movies. But while importing actors... didn't happen to me yet.

I'm doing everything thru the update manager. Then selecting actors then the actors script then watching the direct link lookup. At that point when completed switches to download mode with the complete script. No movie selected with HTML card it's blank or has the gauges.
What it is doing is updating one of the movies the person was in.
*Additional observation* When using the actors script are you supposed to have all the options available in the check boxes like Title etc pretty much the way they are for complete?
Strange, please try to select the actors and use "Update Selected". That's the function I use as I don't wanna wait until all actors are displayed in the Manager...

In the actor's script there aren't those options!!!! You seem to have made the same error than me a long time ago: Don't ever change in the UpdateManager between movies and actor!!! Just select in the MainGrid wahat you wanna import.

More notes for my documentation. If we shouldn't do that shouldn't we grey out that option? I did it your way and low and behold it works. Newbies are going to follow the program.
Waiting for the grid was a pain cause I have 93K actors now that I have my database loaded.
took me a while to figure out how to update the actors...when you click the update selected, you must click on the top of the button as the bottom brings up a batch import..might have to look at fixing that too!
