Did an upgrade to recent 7.1.2.7. Now the Main Grid is just gray, no more movies visible like in the old version. How can I see my movies??

Pooh, then you didn't have updated for a long time....
Just close the MainGrid. Under this window there is a new one that replaced the old one.

Thanks for your answer, that did the trick. Why does the update routine just doesn't close the useless, ancient Main Grid?

Probably your old release was really *old*, this is why XMM has not hide the panel...
